Suburban Diesel Performance Upgrades

We are VERY proud to announce our first sponsor! We were in need of some Suburban Diesel Performance and Heath Diesel came to the rescue! They only deal with 6.5 Turbo diesels and really know their stuff! We ordered their Max-E-Tork eprom chip, PMD isolator system, high output fuel injectos, and their Turbo-master mechanical boost controller.

DSC03065.JPGAs you can imagine, I was like a kid in a candy store, and UPS just couldnt get the package to me fast enough. Right out of the box you can tell Heath Diesel is about quality! Their packaging was great, and instructions were not long winded and to the point. I quickly looked over everything and took the time to make a plan of attack.

The PMD Isolator looked easy and I quickly unplugged the old one and replaced it with Heath Diesels. What this does is basically gets the PMD off the hot engine to help prevent premature failure. DSC03065.JPGIts then relocated down low(like on the skid plate) to help keep it cool. You can see it if you look closely to the hanging front skid plate. Due to the amount of offroading I do, this will probably be relocated later. But it will suit us just fine for now. This kit comes with a really nice "extension cord" if you will. Also fitted with weather proof GM connectors so its a complete plug and play setup. Took all of about 15 minutes to install.
